Maybe your left leg now has extra strength and muscle with all the exercise?

That is possible, others have said it is super stiff and if i don't pay attention it seems to grab way faster than i want. Maybe my awareness if just up

Either way i agree with evodave, the clutch is nice.

Just don't get the extreme pressure plate and pedal effort is not an issue

[QUOTE=evodave;8233477]keep in mind these are slightly slipping the clutch at a 3-5k rpm range (which would normally cause serious chatter)

What were you refering to here?

do the 6 puck exedy is that stage 2-3 or what? I had a stage 2 (thick, they offer thin or thick) in my rsx and I liked it, yea it had chatter but didnt bug me at all.

What pressure plate?

I went with this same setup and I couldn't be happier.

The ACT 6 puck sprung clutch with the stock flywheel. The car feels great. Im in college so I depend on the car a lot for daily driving and it is no problem. I'm already used to it 100miles in.

Clutch can chatter on rare occasion coming out of 1st depending on how I slip it. But now that I've found my sweetspot and its become second nature to drive I dont hear any chatter.

I also went with the AMS slave cylinder ring, I didn't want to take any chances.

This is a great clutch setup for the budget builder DD. I honestly could not justify spending more for a clutch.

very interesting. I spoke to my tuner this week and said I wanted the act 6-puck and they were pushing very hard for me to get exedy twin. But for 3x the price, I was not totally buying it. Now I'm going to say screw it and just get the act. Thanks Dave!

Nice!! Starting a thread about your sweet new ACT cluch by announcing you are sponsored by Exedy. Now THAT's class!

My Evo 8s were/are sponsered by exedy... I opted for a more cost effective approach to this car (Aka completely different platform) the note about exedy was simply to let people know some of my past experience with clutchs... I wouldn't wish a single disc act in a Evo 8 ...not even ur car ha

I may have to try this out. Sounds like a very nice setup for guys who don't want to spend $1500+ on a twin plate. Thanks for the review!
