What would you do with $15K
Here's my final list:
GrimmSpeed Mitsubishi Boost Control Solenoid EVO
FUEL PUMP RELAY
270/262 214-B Kelford Evo X 270/262 camshafts,
Kelford EVO X valve spring
AMS EVO X 650whp Fuel System
Injector Dynamics 1000cc High Impedance Injector Set
Exedy Stage II STD
CBRD BB-X
CBRD Manifold
AMS Widemouth DP
Tuning will be done on 93 for now and once I am comfortable with the outlook of E85 and the steps/parts needed for map switching, will try E85. I have all the supporting mods for the change.
Opinions on having the car tuned with Ecutek vs open source or Cobb AP. Retune on Ecutek is 235. Cobb would be the cost of the AP + 550 tune charge. Open source is about 350ish I think. AMS is doing tuning on whatever. I understand MAP switching will be easier with the AP.
Turbo arrived today. See attached picture.

How I spent and plan to spend my 15 K
1) Exhaust + HFC = 1000
2) IC Kit/w all pipes = 1000
3) AME 18 X 9.5 +22 wheels = 2000
4) Girodisc kit with 1 piece
rotors and ferodo ds2500
stainless teel lines
and rbf600 = 1000
5) cone Intake with inlet pipe = 400
6) BOV kit = 240
7) Exedy twin HD = 1500
8) SSP MC cyl & plunger 450
9) OEM Throw out bearing 70
10) Clutch install labor & misc= 1000
11) center diff pins = 150
12) Tune = 500
13) Coilover kit =2200
14) corner balancing = 250
15) fender work = 250
16) your own craftsman kit
to help you install
the easy stuff = 300
17) Evo Scan GPS = 385
18) OP 2.0 = 180
19) LC1 Wideband = 200
20) Grimmspeed 3 port solenoid = 90
21) TWM Shifter & bushings = 300
22) you have another 1500 remaining approximately, and you can save this, add some more money later, and add a full turbo upgrade with DP, Ex manifold, int Manifold etc.
moral of the above list, it does not matter how much you want to spend, you can always find ways to spend more. Obviously you could remove some stuff in the list and add according to your priority, but that's for you to choose.
hope that helps.
EDIT: I also presume you can do everything by yourself given the right amount of time, except the friggin clutch and related stuff. So if you plan on having someone else do the installs, you can kiss a whole lot of that list goodbye.

If the OP is satisfied with getting the majority of power out of the BBX on E85 then a single pump and the ID1000's will work. If you're like me and want every hp/tq then you'll find yourself upgrading if you make the switch. DW should have 1200cc injectors out in a few months.

Yeah, that's why my mods are into the 20's right now. Labor and a set of Volks.
