YAY! I got my first CEL
Well after driving to and from LA, just before I got home, my check engine light came on, and you guessed it, P0420. I have an ETS dp and tp, and a buschur exhaust (and some other goodies). Anyways I thought the ETS tp was suppose stop CEL? Anyways it's fixed now, quick and easy question though, when I get my car tuned will I still have to worry about the occasional CEL?
Their O2 sensor CEL fix is only as good as the best O2 sensor CEL fix, which is to say not fool proof, sadly.
When you get tuned, it can be turned off, yes. So if your tuner knows how to do it, voila, no CEL.
