T1r hfc
I'm using the T1R HFC at the moment and I have to say that it has increased performance throughout all the power band. It is noticable and on top of that, its emission friendly! Theres alot of **** po po in my area, so if I do get pulled over and if they check under the car for a cat I'm safe.
I did consider the T1R resonated TP as well though. I think I could probably get away with that as well since there IS a resonator on it, but I haven't risked it yet. I'm sure the T1R test pipe will out perform the HFC since its more free flowing, but for now, I am happy with the HFC. If you're located somewhere with less strict emissions laws, I think getting the TP would get you a larger gain. Just my 0.2 cents.
I hope that helps you out.

^^aah, Virginia, sucks for us doesn't it. I live near chantilly and the car is registerd in VA. I got a HFC from ETS too.
To the OP, If the cell count on the HFC is 300 or less and is a metal core and is part of a 3" setup, you should be just fine. I mean, there isn't much a manufacturer can do to screw up a Testpipe with HFC. good luck.
