If I'm in 4th gear say going 45 mph. If I put my foot down the revs will jump up like 3k then go back down and then I start accelerating. This doesn't seem normal to me. Is this the clutch slipping? As long as I don't accelerate quickly it seems to be ok. But if I put my foot down I have this momentary rev, then the car starts going.

Please help!

That sounds like your clutch is slipping. We all up for an upgrade sooner or later.
