DW800 Fitment issue

Im having an issue with my DW800s,
The DW injector on the far left of the fuel rail will not go in as far as the other 3 injectors, causing it to spray gas.

Any recommendations?

Do they look the same outside of the car? Sounds like maybe just a seal not in place correctly?

aer you using the seals from DW? the bottom ones (the ones that go into the intake manifold) are very big and are a labor of love to get seated without breaking one.

i had a similar issue and ended up destroying 2 out of the 4 resulting in a vacuum leak. i took them out and replaced the bottom seals with the OEM ones and they popped right in and have been happy since.

i talked to DW about it and they sent me new seals, which i keep in my center console just in case. they said that they are aware of the larger seals and did that purposely to avoid leaks for people with higher boost applications.

All the seals are the same across all 4. No matter what order I put them in the one on the far left (belt side) will leak. I can take a pic later to better explain.
However even if I get it to seat correctly it will eventually move.

is your fuel rail bent or not bolted down correctly or did you lose the spacers that the bolts go through?

Fuel rail shouldn't be bent.
Mounted correctly with the spacers.

I suppose I could try bending the mounting bracket a bit so its less of a gap between the fuel rail and injector inlet on the left side.

I tried taking a picture but there isnt enough adequate light in my garage.

The far right injector looks like it has about 1/16th of an inch of silver metal showing at the top.
The far left injector is close to 5/16th of an inch of silver metal showing. The injectors inbetween gradually increase.

Uninstalled, re-installed injectors, switched up the order.

No leaks so far, but who knows after a few hard pulls.
So far Im unimpressed with DW800s

I've got the DW800 on my Evo. No issues, I'm pushing over 400 whp. It did take me a little bit to get them installed. They definetly fit stug with the spacers. No complaints. Just make sure the injectors are pushed all the way in.

I just installed 1000's and NO issues at all. Took me 10 minutes. I used engine oil to lube the o rings.

I got some used DW800's with fresh gaskets, took about 20 mins to install on a hot engine, no real fitment issues. Make sure everything is properly seated and STAYS properly seated as you tighten down the fuel rail. ANY injector or set of injectors can get out of alignment if you're not careful, and cause the issue you're describing. Just take care when you install them and they'll treat you right
