When checking for a boost leak you want to check all the pipes and the tightest of the hose clamps. (on the boost side of the system)

Worst case, a piece of the piston flew out and damaged the turbine blade. Chipped or bent turbine blades usually make that whistling sound when you are on boost. Check your spark plugs for damage and do a compression test. If possible, use a borescope to look inside the cylinders for damage thru the spark plug hole.

Do you have a boost gauge? What kind of boost are you seeing when this occurs?

Compare the results to when you remember the car working and as others have stated, you need to do a boost leak test ASAP. I wouldn't be driving the car around until you get this checked out.

$1 days you blew the coupler off your turbo outlet, or tore it

I think its a torn coupler too. Maybe a hose clamp came off.

Sounds like a boost leak but if you haven't upgraded your uicp/licp/fmic then it isn't too likely.

with my stock turbo in hand...im like it looks good........so probably my high flow did th¸at....you might want to check that before buying a new turbo!!!! it takes 5 minutes if your not dropped lol.
