Anyone here have the Synapse BOV?
If so, i'm trying to set it up to vent to atomsphere... there is the one screw bolt in the center of the back and then the 2 nipples that comes with the kit, how do I hook this thing up? I don't have any T's or anything... i'm not completely understanding the instructions... being high on Klonopin doesn't help much either... could some post a pic of how they set theirs up or just give me an easier run down for dummies?.

Ok, so i'm having a new BOV sent to me, but I have a question ....
How is the synapse supposed to be hooked up? I'm using an GS EBCS, and it is hooked up with the boost coming from turbo, the WG coming straight off the WG and intake is just open. There are no T's or anything in the lines. How would I set it up to VTA?
The other question is... how would I set it up to recirc? What are the advantages of that?

It is very simply, when you get the new BOV you will get the hardware to install it. Basically I am assuming you are getting the newer model BOV.
It comes with two nipples which you attach to the back of the BOV, you put the vacuum lines into those nipples(comes with bov), those two vacuum lines attach to a Y. The single part that is coming out of the Y attaches to a vacuum source.
Make sure you adjust the BOV.

What about the hose that went to the nipple of the stock BOV? The Synapse I got didn't have one of those... but I did get the wrong one.

Ok guys.. I found out... which maybe everyone else already knew that Synapse was bought out by Vivid Racing I believe and they are not putting the larger nipple that goes on like every other BOV out there... so what the hell am I now supposed to do with the bigger line that used to go to the BOV? Now i'm definitely confused here.

False information, I picked mine up through DSG performance. According to them Vibrant only does distribution for Synapse (their from canada and vibrant is their neighbor or something). Synapse is still their own company, they also did have revisions done to the BOV (I have the newer version). You should shoot them an email im sure they will be able to help you out. Theyre HUGE with synapse. you can see them on the "other" evox forums
