blown rear diff

last night on the 4th launch ever on my car with the new 6300 2 step and twin disk clutch, i blew the rear diff. oil everywhere, it was a mess. i searched and havent really found anyone else who has done this. somewhat hoping this will be covered by warranty...

Good luck - would be very surprised if you can get it covered with your mods.

With those mods I would take a day to put the car back to stock and take it in.

Sad to say I doubt it'll be covered under warranty.

a handful of people have had this happen (check the other forbidden forum for a recent thread). No warranty will ever cover this. I'd suggest a Cusco rear diff if you're planning on launching that hard very often. I think they run about $1500. iirc evodave on here had one installed this racing season. You might want to PM him to get his thoughts.

Most aftermarket warranties do not cover untill the factory warranty is expired.
