Exhaust Manifolds

Recieved a nice present in the form of some sweet cash and it got me looking at manifolds. I looked around and found one by Agency Power ($600), MAPerformance ($850ish), and CBRD ($950ish). Whats the main differences I should be looking at in these besided price diff? MAP give the option to P&P your stock on as well. I like the way the MAP tubular manifold looks, reminds me of the full race one, but for $200 cheaper will AP's make the same power? Any helpful info or things I need to think about or consider prior would be great....thanks fellas!

Not sure about the AP....

Ours has a few nice features:

very close to equal length
stepped flange for better flow
fully ported
lifetime warranty against cracking
3rd Party tested by HB Speed (now cobb) +32whp with an Fp red

If you have further questions please let us know!

I just installed teh MAP manifold and noticed nice gains up top on the street. I hve not strapped it on the dyno yet, but the spool loss was minumul.

it was fullt ported inside and looked clean as hell. They have also had 3rd party tests show 40whp with a upgraded turbo and i believe it come with a lifetime warranty.

AP manfiold looks like a mass produced Megan manifold. MAP hand makes everything in house. You pay for quality.

CBRD's manifold looks like pure sex. It is really really hard to not recommend it, so I do! I also recommend the MAP manifold. I have the MAP tubular manifold and the gains were just staggering, 35+whp.

I have it coated now and it looks even hotter. It has fancy flanges on it as well making it truely a top-notch piece.

AFI has a very nice looking peice as well. AFI use to manufature agency power stuff then agency power outsourced to china or some ****, so stay away from that junk. AFI is legit though.

I'd say CBRD or MAP, those are the two I am going to be looking at, however the full race and even ETS are nice choices too.

Oh really? I have got to check this thing out

OP, of the choices that you have listed, I would go after the CBRD or MAP manifold, though the ETS is pretty sweet too with the sale going on. If the sizing of the tubing is an issue, they will make one with smaller tubing. I haven't seen the other manifolds in person, but I can tell you, the ETS is pretty damn solid looking... and it also has a lifetime warranty too (thought it doesn't look like you would need it)

on the subjcet of life time warranties, CBRD does that mean if i buy a manifold from you and it cracks than i just take it off and send it to you and you'll send me a brand spanking new one? or do you just weld the crack and send it back?... because if that's the case then it makes no sense to pay shipping since a welder down the street can patch it up for $15 or so. just asking.

Dont forget about the full-race manifold. Been making top notch hot parts longer than anybody and the fabrication setups on these are crazy. Something like 100bucks worth of shielding gas on every manifold welded

As with everything we warranty, we have to see the product first, so we can determine the failure and see if it's something we need to address or revise

Here are some pics:

Most of the time the manifold is fixed. We take a look at the runners and if the runner is what we feel unrepairable or unreliable, we cut out the runner and put in a new one. If the manifold can not be fixed we replace it. We offer a lifetime warranty against any type of cracking or manufacturer defects.

We have sold tons of these manifolds and never had one come back. We have an awesome track record with the evo x. We currently have the fastest evo x The manifold we use on our track car is the same product/material we sell to our customers.

We sell what we race.

Here is a link to our manifold. Currently we have our holiday sale until the end of the week.

$764.00

Thanks,

Michael
