Did you pre oil the turbo bearings before starting the car and going for a drive? Ive always been told to do so, but I don't know if it really makes a difference.

If it's the Garrett bolt-on, then it comes with a restrictor. Is there any shaft play or anything? I would lean towards it being an oil drain line problem. That line can be a royal pain to line up correctly.

I have used the retrictor that came with the kit ,and for the drain line it fits only the right way ! as shaft play it has normal shaft play ,nothing touching the housing ! the strange thing is it does leak/smoke only if i leave the car idling for few mins!!!!

That is weird..... A couple other things to check: PCV valve, compression and leakdown test. Excessive blowby can cause high crank case pressure and cause oil to leak out the turbo. A leakdown test should find this.

With the vacuum so low at idle, it might be building up excessive crank case pressure at idle, and that would cause smoking.

How does the car run? I'm wondering if the cam timing is off by a gear tooth or two which is causing the low vacuum. Or maybe just bad piston rings? I don't know if bad rings would cause low vacuum though, but just blowby.
