Just checked my T-case again and it was full. I only put in .9 quarts of fluid in there and it was nasty and full. Checked my transmission fluid and it was low

i'm thinking it's a seal between the transmission and T-case. Gonna stock the car and try a warranty. I will update the thread as soon as i find out.

Took my car in this morning, this was the problem. thankfully, I have a mod-friendly dealer. They told me had I had to pay for it, it'd be $4100.

yeah, the tech called and said they were going to call the engineers in Cali to see if there's a way to replace the seal without having to replace the whole t-case, but didn't think it was possbile. Going to pick up the rental after work.

No way I'd let Mitsubishi have that much money, I would send it to jacks WAY before that. It's covered under warranty.

If my clutch was replaced would that mean I don't have to worry about this because I'm pretty sure it is required to drain the TC during a clutch job?

I plan on checking next oil change for peace of mind.

Correct, transfer case fluid is drained during a clutch job.

I read most posts, did anyone ever get the sealed replaced for the 2008 and up Evos ? Or dealers just always replaced the transfer case ?

I am leaking between transfer case and transmission and I cannot find these seals at the local dealer

I attached an image, left page (with missing seals) is the dealer's software for Evo X and the right smaller image is some image that I think is from Evo IX or VIII.

Are these seals the same for Evo X ?
