Tanabe Medalion Dual Exit
Let's try this one more time..any Tanabe owners out there? How'rs it holding up? Quality piece? Opinion on flow compared to a Greddy Spectrum Elite? Tips look large and close to diffuser...any bumper melting issues?
Highly considering the Medallion Touring, just need that push.

Been running my Medalion Touring for about a year now. Still sounds amazing, actually sounds a lot better after about 500 miles or so. i added a down pipe and high flow cat about 6 months ago, still pretty quite at idle and sound really warm and deep @ WOT. If i remember correctly either on the paperwork inside or the box it said "Made in Japan" and the muffler part itself have a JASMA (Japan Sports Muffler Association) tag welded on the bottom.
something like that. After everythig is settled the tips seat about 1/4" from the diffuser, mine's still good, not melted or anything. hope that helps

Not sure if my opinion/experience count but I had a Tanabe Hyper Medallion on my VR-4 and I absolutely loved it. The sound, the quality of the welds, the way it looked; a great exhaust and I got many compliments. Can't think of anything negative to say about it.
When I bought my X the previous owner had put the Tomei Expreme exhaust on it (which I also love) but had I the opportunity to shop an exhaust for this car I would have certainly considered Tanabe.
