Cobb Exhaust

Previously I had the Cobb high-flow cat and DP installed and left the stock cat-back on. Went to Cobb Plano yesterday morning and had their exhaust installed. I was in and out in less than an hour.

I personally like a quieter 4 cylinder since it doesn't sound anything like a V8.

I am more than pleased with the new set up. Almost as quiet as stock at lower RPM's and sounds just perfect at WOT. The sound of the turbo with the exhaust is just exhilarating.

Before the cat back I was posting 4.2 0-60 per cobb access port. I'll do a run this afternoon and post new times. Not sure if the cat back added power or not but is sure is fun!

O it definitely had to add some power over the stock exhaust. The stocker doesn't flow THAT well. Glad you like it. When I first got my exhaust my gas mileage went way down because I kept going into boost just to hear the exhaust.

It must be the og? because it's not the quad tip. I still have not done any runs with the accessport but it definitelydid add power. I'm having to shift the MR transmission much faster than in the past.

My Gas mileage has also gone way down with me driving a little harder just to hear the new exhaust!

I also have the COBB TBE on my MR, sounds great...nice growl. Huge COBB fan since back when I started running their parts on my MS6.

Still getting crap gas mileage as well, need to keep my foot out of it...but it sounds so good.

You guys have any sound clips? I'm considering switching my exhaust to this one.

I would agree with you here. I have not been to a drag strip yet and just don't trust the 1/4 miles time on the access port since tires could slip a bit differently from run to run. I also live in the city and a 0-60 run is a lot easier to do than a full 1/4 mile.

0-60 with Cobb DP and High flow cat +SF flased to stage 2 was 4.29
0-60 with Cobb TBE +SF flashed to Stage 2 was 4.24.

I'd say a half a tenth isn't bad for just exhaust.
