Sent my injectors in for warrantee work, and they are sending me an updated new set. Said they would tune better. They are even going to next day them. Great service, I just hope this set works better.

Just installed the new set dw sent. Idle is rock solid now. I'll take it out tomorrow to do some logging, but I can already tell a difference with the updated dw1300 model.

Yea I got a new set in also, I have been messing around with them but am still having a tip in issue when I take off with them going really lean. What latency and scaler values are you using with your new set? My latency values are still very, very low to avoid being too rich while my scaler has to remain at 1170 or higher. Let me know, thanks.

My 1300cc injectors are still triggering a misfire code, looks like I'll have to get them swapped at some point. My cure for the lean tip in was to go open loop earlier as in my above post. Seems that closed loop doesn't play nice with this set of injectors so setting the AFR manually in that part of the load tables is a good work around.

The new style 1000cc injectors that I installed into an MR on our team ended up being decent for everything except warm starts. I tried everything to lean it out for quicker starts but nothing worked and they had to put the throttle to the floor to get it to catch consistantly. Keep in mind this was with LTFT's hovering around +-2% for both cruise and idle.

After the One Lap trip he drove to my place before heading back to Canada and we swapped in my old DW 800cc injectors. Even with the old ECU settings they started right up zero issues. Used my old scalings and adusted a bit leaner to accomodate the different turbo intake pipe he was using. Got to 11.5 AFR's and perfect drivability about 45 minutes later. I'm likely going to seek a refund for those 1000cc injectors for him because I ended up flashing the ECU 27 times to attempt fixing the warm start issues and nobody should have to go through that much effort and still have a car that won't start right. I wish these newer style injectors were more tested in the field before releasing them to the public. I know they have great customer service and in the past their products were great, but this last string events is making it a nightmare for any tuners having to deal with these issues.

Doesnt seem like DW fixed the issues, I recently installed a set of DW1000 on a evo x and after scaling the injectors with FT's about +/- 2%, i still have some idle issues from time to time. open loop WOT is great though.

I will be isntalling DW1300 on my car soon and i hope i dont have any issues.
