I believe the results would have been closer if you could get the boost on the black to match the one on the 750 kit all the way, especially that the black at 25psi (boost at peak power) is not well into its efficiency range.
This was true on the 8/9, but we don't know yet on the X. Thus far, no one has been able to get the black to hold much over 24psi at redline. Kinda sucks, and eventually we will figure it out. I think the wga that comes with it sucks, and there's really not a good aftermarket option. The HKS is 22psi, but we really need a wga with about 25 or more base pressure like the 8/9 has to even have a chance to hold higher boost up top.

I can hold a little more on mine, it just doesn't make anymore power it loses power.

I think we need a 25psi actuator like the 8/9 had...even my blouch seems to be the culprit. For how linear this is you can tell its just the actuator sucking and not being able to withstand the back pressure.

If you look how it drops compared to any of the stock housing turbos it's just inevitable. The stock housing is just small and hits a wall then starts to taper, all of them do it around the same point. Like I said even on mine with everything open and the ability to breath more it lost power trying to hold more, it just works too hard and gets too hot.

Looks pretty badass man! What are you using for boost control, just a MBC? Your black tapers worse than my BBX...of course you have a 2.3L so that explains a lot.

Looks like a good solid setup....sounds like the oil-only turbos are pretty reliable says AMS, that's pretty surprising, but awesome!

Enjoy the setup man, looks like fun!

Grimspeed 3 port on the Black and 750R, and like you point out the taper is largely due to the fact I'm running larger displacement but I also have nearly everything opened up to allow for better flow. I imagine with a stock head, manifolds, and IC piping the taper wouldn't be nearly as much.

Are you running pump gas or e85? if it's e85 doesn't make sense that it lost power at higher Boost, but if you say so...

Btw, which 2.3 engine do you have? (builder/parts)

It's an ERL 2.3L kit, here is more on what all is in the car for additional mods.

It's a large V-band for the down pipe and dump tube, what are you looking for exactly?

The intake hose is 4" x 3.5" and the intake itself is the same size ans the Primo and MAP.

Every thing is Vband and included with the kit.

I think he's asking about the compressor outlet to the UICP.
