been hearing a mild rattling from back of car. mechanic says its the L rear differential moving around. He referred me to a transimssion guy. Need a new clutch too. question is, am I in for a major repair bill for this differential problem? and how much should a new clutch cost at the local tranny shop? should I wait and order the spec 2 clutch from MAP?
what could this rattling form the differential be? only mods on the car are slightly lowered, AMS intake, and wheels.

 

What year EVO and how many miles?

 

Take it to the dealership or a shop experienced with Evos.

 

If it is still under warranty than I would take it to the dealership because the rear diff can get expensive.. for the clutch though I would get an aftermarket on installed at a shop that knows evos

 

with 29,000 miles. because it has an intake, I'm guessing nothing will be covered under warranty from what i've read.
