CNT racing 1 piece downpipe HFC 3" - REVIEW

Product Review

Price: 10/10. $199. Courtesy of EvoGeneration (approved vendor on the "other" evo x forum). Contact Thomas

Material: 10/10. Made with T-304 stainless steel. 3" all around. (OEM stock downpipe/dp & catalytic coverter is 2.5")

Includes:
-76mm piping 3 inch piping.
-Comes with a 200 Cell High flow cat.
-Comes with extra 02 bung for wideband 02 sensor.
-Free Cel Fix with downpipe (30 dollars value free) <---THIS is VERY important. This adapter piece avoids "throwing up codes" (ie: check engine light) issue. Great inclusion.

Fitment: 10/10. No install issues w/ mechanic. Exact fitment w/ my invidia q300 catback (also a 3" diameter piping). Should fit well w/ other aftermarket catback exhausts w/ 3" piping.

Summary:
Great vendor.
Awesome price $199
Superb quality.
Lighter weight vs. stock pieces (sorry, don't know by how much).
Quick shipping.
No codes/check engine light after install.
Sounds like a beast (loud deep rumble) at WOP and maintains a 'stealth' sound at idle.
Works well w/ Invidia q300.
No gas-smell.
I'm not tuned yet, performance #'s to be determined.
Highly recommended.

If you guys have any further questions, I'll try to answer them. Or PM the vendor, Thomas EvoGeneration.

Thanks for looking.

Ive got a question. (i may make my own thread shortly)

I have the invidia downpipe/test pipe. There are 2 o2 bungs. I will be installing the cat sensor at the time of the install. Later on i will be installing the wideband sensor.

How do i plug the extra bung for a few months. I need to save up for the boost and wideband install and pro tune?

If you have the invidia dp/tp single piece, are you replacing that w/ this CNT one?
Sorry, I'm slightly unclear as to what you are asking.
But as far as I remember, the CNT piece comes w/ extra caps and plugs.

I'd try local auto part stores. Or, I'd ask someone who has the same dp/tp that you have and ask them.
I don't have the inivida dp/tp myself. I have the exhaust/midpipe section only, the q300.

Did you notice quicker spool with this installed? I'm trying to decide between the 1 piece downpipe with the HFC and just a HFC.

Thanks!

Will a downpipe/hfc be much louder than just a high flow cat?
