help!! problem with 4th gear...
hi everyone!
one of my friend is having some trouble with 4th gear on his EVO X....
his EVO is TC-SST one and, it has SSP clutch pack and steel for 500hp thing on it.
the problem is....
the rpm does not go up smoothly at once. it hesitates evey 800rpm at 4th gear only.
it hesitates at certain ranges like at 2,800 3,600 and 4,400 rpm if put 4th gear at 2,000 rpm, and 2,900 3,700 4,500rpm if put at 2,100 rpm....
so I gues it is not exactly at certain rpm, but at certain ratio.
if it was slipping after putting the SSP one on, it should've happen at every gear right?
oh, his EVO is Korean version... I mean KDM one.
is the SST transmission all the same for the ones that are put on Asia and U.S?
he was wondering if the EVO's for Korea and U.S has slightly different or something...
what could be the possible problem???
oh, I have a video clip that shows how it is but do not know how to put it on to the thread.... if anyone knows how, please let me know
