Has anyone gotten direct experience adjusting the valves as shown in the maintenance of these Evo X's? I found a valve lash "How-to" under the 4g63 cars's sections, but I'm surprised that there is no 4B11T write-up and version I could find.

My lifter 'tick-tick' started around 7 or 8k, it's noticably louder now nearly 60k later. I figured I'd see if it's a reasonable DIY if there were any success stories. Heck, in 2008 I already found a BT add-on customization for the GSR so I am not so stoked about the repeatability and safety of the valves as a DIY. Not yet.

Any help?
