Help: Stealership indicated I have a unconnect hose hanging off the Wastegate

Since it appears to be a mod, they won't work on it.

The quick background is I bought this car used (2011 GSR) with very few miles under the assumption it was stock however seems there were some slight mods done to it. Drives fine except when spirited driving takes over I can pop a 68 and a 234 code.

What kind of mod would this be and if I schedule some time with a tuner (to get it tuned) and wanted to make them away of it and fix it. If it is a usable upgrade I would have them fix it.

I have no idea where the wastegate is oriented on the car but I am sure I can figure it out, but any direction from the gurus would be helpful. I plan on getting underneath it tonight to take some pics.

My first goal is to get it tuner and have them fix anything that is "atypical", so this is the first one.

Thanks in advance for any help?

P234 code is a over boost code. Plug that hose back the way it is and monitor you boost. Should fix itself and go away. The P0068 code is that mass air sensor is not corresponding with the throttle position sensor. Could also be caused by the over boost. Surprised car did not go into limp mode.

Thanks for the response.

Did not get to it last night, but will this afternoon time permitting.

I do believe it went into limp mode (i.e., idling at 2k for a period of time?). During spirited highway driving it typically hits a 234 code and sets off the ASC service light goes away after I turn off the car.

The last time i was there they connected a loose hose to the turbo which caused a high idle (3k) after some highway driving. Since then no issue with a high idle after turboed driving.

Don't mean to bring this up from the dead.. but i got this code tonight p0068.. after i got this code it was idling at 2000rpm untill i turned the car off and back on.. then it idled fine..
a few weeks back i uninstalled my cobb access port b/c ive been having shifting issues (wont go in to first gear all the time) so when i get a chance to take it in to the dealer they can look at the trany.. anyways i'm wondering if it's because of the K&N cobb inlet hose and cobb hard pipes.. more air than normal on the 100% stock mitsu tune?

is there a chance i have a boost hose loose? it's dark out at the moment so i'll likely take a look in the morning.. ps, boost solenoid is stock with boost pills in.

any suggestions?

thanks

Do you try to go into first while driving or at a stop?

you should only attempt going into first only at a complete stop if you are moving it is usually difficult to go into first gear
