TWM Short Shifter with 4" Extension in action!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CO0wJ2beHQU

The TWM Short Shifter kit, Weighted Knob and 4" TWM Extension.

The extension and short shifter kit is a bit of a contradiction, but in the heat of action, being able to get to the shifter so easily is a big help!

I miss 3rd once, but thats just me being a ****!

I've always wondered.. would adding an extension to a short shifter change the leverage, or be much different at all, compared to a stock shifter with a shorter extension?

Guess you'd probably still have the benefit of having the shifter angled towards the driver a little bit.

Anyway, cool vid.. sounds beastly

I'm actually doing this whenever I get off my butt to do it. I have a 3" extension on and love it!!! I have the short shifter under my laptop. I wondered if this was a contradiction, but from the looks of yours it looks the way I hoped.

I'd say that they are a little shorter than stock....... they are certainly not long!

You wouldn't set the car up like this if you wanted super short throws .... but if you wanted to make gear changes just that little easier in the madness of an AutoX or track day... then this works nicely!
