Question injectors correct nozzle (extendet or not?)

ok guys i've searched a lot in the forum and still can't get it 100%

the evo x stock injectors have extended tips that goes inside the runners mounting tube point in the top of which sits the injector.... its not like the 4g63's that the end of the injector isalmost inside the runner... the X's haves a lot of space left from that point to the runner inner paths where the atomization should take effect after a correct spray pattern...

if we mount a evo9 stock style injectors with not extended nozzles (like the ID and fic that you most guys use) then the spray pattern would be wrong and the "tube" walls (from the injector o-ring mounting point to the air path in the inner runner) whould be filled with fuel messing the atomization and the combustion especially as the fuel pressure rises.

I saw that DW had extended nozzle injectors for the X some time ago but if i'm reading the forum correctly they change it to the sort versions since them and FIC can't get the extended style injectors to modify... they also claim that there is no loss in performance and spray pattern if we use the short ones instead of the logical option, the extended oem style versions.... common.... are you guys for real???

anyway to sum things up....
Is there any extended nozzle style injector available in the market at the moment? i need 1000cc at least...

the FIC1100 evo 8/9 seems that they are this kind of injectors and the evo X are not!!!! at least this is what i come up from the pics in here and the part numbers....
Could it be possible to get those and fit them in the X?
i really don't want to use sort injectors and the only alternative that i can think of is grinding the mounting point in the intake manifold in order to get them closer to the air paths....

Deatchwerks used to make them that way I believe….I have a set of 1000cc that are fairly long compared to what I've seen. I got them off the forums here and am waiting to send them in to DW to get flow tested and cleaned etc, but I believe they made what you're talking about

SARD has some but only at 900cc

From DW
There is no performance benefit or loss between the extended nozzle version and the current short nose version.

I know this thread is dead but for anyone looking for info both sard and ecutek make "long nozzle" injectors. Short injectors do pool on the 4b11 but its made up for with more quantity on "standard nozzle" injectors for the 4b11 application. The long nozzle injectors are more efficient (specific to the 4b11, better atomization). Sard makes a decent injector but unfortunately they are not a matched set. The ecuteks are matched, sold as a set and since the are more efficient they can support more "power" then your average 800cc injector but you're still limited and they are hard to find in the US. Don't get me wrong there are other great brands of injectors, ID makes a great set. They are just not evo x specific.
