I've seen the 750 put out some pretty good numbers...with your setup should put out some good numbers. Since it is the overbore 2.2 I would suggest the 750 b/c the black powerband will taper out...that's why I went with the AGP 6266 instead of the black/ef4.

Is your tranny rebuilt? Also, is the Exedy twin going to be enough to handle your power goals? I keep getting pointed in the direction of the CM 850 twin or carbonetic twin...well anywho, GL with your build.

I am leaning for the 750xp I really want something with quick spool that going to make 600ish on the 2.2 I haven't heard of any twins failing at that level

^^Its the torque that kills clutches, not whp. Stock framed turbos generally put down higher torque numbers than BIG turbos

Coming from a guy who has ran the black and EF4 both at around 600whp...

Go with the 750xp all day long. You will make an easy 600whp on E85/race fuel and can probably tap it out at close to 650whp.

If you can afford it I will recommend the t3 setups typically. The stock frames are great and even the bigger ones are fun, but the biggest plus to them in my mind is the whole upgrade as you go along thing, meaning buying piece by piece, where a turbo kit is a big chunk of change.

seams like a no brainer to me... just compare dyno sheets, much better powerband out of an AMS kit over the black...

I wouldn't go that far...my black and EF4 both have almost 4500 rpms of powerband...that is tough to find on any setup.

I think he was comparing the Ams to the black.

In reall just hung up because I sent my stock turbo out a while ago. And I'd rather not waste the upgrade or losing my stock turbo. If I do the Ams kit my biggest fear is running out of fuel I was running a walbro 255 and now I have a new aero 340. Im thinking that the 750xp will suck that thing dry. I really don't want to spend 600 on a dbl pumper and have probles with it.

I understand he was, I am saying peak numbers aren't always the most important, powerband is and how many RPM's you sustain it for is a big part of that. It's all about area under the curve.

Regardless, I don't think you can go wrong with either setup personally. If you are worried about spending 600 on something like a proper fuel setup, just stick with the bolt on turbo. The full turbo kits require all the supporting mods...so if you don't want to cross into that territory, don't.

You're going to be close to maxing out your fuel system with the black, and possibly be fuel limited on the 750xp.
The black will make 520 on pump, 600 on c16. The 750 will make more than that, but probably won't be able to max it out w/ your fuel setup.

Based on your comments and current parts, I'd just get the bb black. You're all set up already to take advantage of it, and it really is great power

The nice thing about the 5858 T3 kit is scalability .
Down the road if you want to move to a 6266 or something else, you're looking at maybe just over $1500 for a turbo that bolts right up to what you already have.

With the stock frame Black if you want to go bigger, your screwed.
