So I have the HKS hi-power dual exhaust and want to go to a single but can't seem to sell mine or trade it soooo I decided to go custom but where the pipe "Y" off it goes from 3" to dual 2 1/2" and the inlet on the Hi-Power cans is 2 1/2", would it be feasible to cut from where the pipe is 3" and weld a another 3" pipe from there to the can w/ out the 2 1/2" inlet being the restriction? IE: can I some how make the inlet bigger w/ out totally junking the muffler? Any idea's please let me know!!!
