I own a 2010 EVO X, 48K miles, recently purchased. The other night I tried to drive it with the ASC Off. When the car rev up, I heard a big noise like a metal hit something then a light came on the dash that sys ASC Service Required. When I turned off the car and put it back on the light came off.

If I Turn the ASC off it keeps doing the same thing, but the car drives good with the ASC on.

Any ideas what's causing this? Please help and thanks in advance
