Maintenance on my low mileage X?

I have had my 2010 Evo X for 30 months… It only has 7,000 miles on it (yeah yeah I know). It has had 5… yes 5 oil changes during that time , along with standard tire rotation. I have been Cobb Stage 1 (OTS) since 1500 miles and Cobb Stage 2 (OTS) since 5500 miles with a TBE. Other than that.. Stock.

I plan on driving the car more often now so I want to be sure it is in top shape. Besides another oil change. What other maintenance items should I look at? When I look at the maintenance schedule, it recommends the following replacement items for 30 months (however I feel that is overkill for right now):

1. Engine Oil (change)
2. Transfer Oil (Check/Change)
3. Coolant (Change)
4. Rear Axle Diff (Change)
5. Rear Axle Torque (Change)
6. Drive Belts for generator & ps (change?!?)

I drive it moderately hard without beating the crap out of it. Never been tracked. I start the car a few times a week and take it on short / long cruises at least once a week. Any advice is appreciated

On the forums there's a post for scheduled maintaince for your car. I think that at 7k your car is still being broken in and besides checking your fluids and such you'll be fine. But it's your car, you do what you feel is necessary.

Have fun on the open roads with an open throttle? Haha

Send an oil sample out to Blackstone, this should give you a good baseline when the car is "new". Future oil samples will tell you how it is compared to the original sample when "new".

Thanks for the advice. I called the stealership, Route 46 Mitsu in Totowa NJ... They recommended that I change all fluids and were going to give me a "deal" at $775.00 for the 30 month tune-up The service guy said that the fluids were "old"

See they are still up to shenanigans over at Rt 46 Nissan Mitsubishi. They have been robbing people for years over there. Not to mention the crap work from their service dept.

Lived in the area for many years and have heard and seen horror story after horror story.

Yeah unfortunately I do not have many options in terms of dealerships up here. I would love to try to do it all myself, but my bad back and knee wont have any part of that. I may just bring it to a local reputable shop just to get the basic fluids done for now.
