Don't forget MAP EF3

And honestly I would think with a really great tuner and some cams and E85 you could hit those numbers on the stock turbo. Or if you went EF2, or FP Green you could see those numbers pretty solidly with another +50hp and ~400trq

I know a number of people making 400 hp with a stock turbo. I'd stick with it unless you want to go big numbers.

OP said 91 pump, 400 isn't possible with the stock turbo on pump.

If you're looking for 400 on pump I'd suggest something on the smaller end of the stockframe market such as the EF2/BBXLite/Green. I'm personally making 416/374 with an EF2 (93 octane, stock cams).

EF2 or FP Green will get you there with supporting mods.

Bolt-ons, E85...and depends what you consider safe, but I'd say you're safer with an upgrade turbo and pump gas.

What's an EF2?

So an FP green.

I know that on e85 with bolt ons the car can make that power
I have a DSM on E85 But on evo x I don't know what's the turbo that is popular

Here are the mods I have in mind

*** *

Rc 1000
Walbro 255
Ets fmic

I already have intake And a turboback

what made you go with EF2 as opposed to FP Green? I like that the FP Green is BB but I also like the price of the EF2 (not trying to thread jack)

Pretty tough to argue with a turbo that's almost a thousand dollars cheaper that has faster spool and quicker response, yet makes about the same top-end power. I actually only lost 80 RPM spool going from stock to the EF2.

I originally bought a Green, but ended up selling it in favor of the EF2 before installing it.

wow I had no idea the EF2 spooled faster than a BB Green...I might just have to go with the EF2....one last thing, is the porting/coating worth the $200. I have no problem spending the extra $$$ (I didn't spend $40k on a car to cheap out on parts) as long as there is a noticeable benefit. Thanks again Kracka

I have all the porting/coating options (it was actually my idea for them to offer compressor housing porting) but it's really up to the individual to decide if it's worth it or not. To me it definitely is, if I'm going to do something I want it to be the best it possibly can be with no regrets or what-ifs. This is probably why my cars hold (or have held) the power records [for similar setups] at the dynos they've been on.
