Cosworth MX1 vs Kelford 214A

Just curious what you guys think. I want to maintain best drivability as possible as this is my DD and I am going to be sticking with my stock turbo for a little bit but want to go ahead and pick up some cams. I have all the bolt ons etc so this is the next step. What would you guys pick? The Kelford 214A's being 264/252 or the Cosworth MX1 at 266/266? I am leaning towards the Cosworth but I dont know to many people local that have ran either on the X. So if you can list Pros and Cons if any and what you are running personally. Thanks

I have the kelford 214-b's and absolutely love them. They are a fantastic mix of driveability, low-end torque, and top-end power.

I was never super impressed with the cosworth cams on the X.

I will say though, stick with the stock cams and upgrade the turbo instead. If you really want stock-like driveability this will give you more power but keep everything else stock-like. There is honestly zero reason to do cams on a stock turbo setup on the X--just NOT worth it.

Thanks for the reply. I guess Ill wait and do cams and turbo all at the same time then. How is your idle with your setup and the 214b's?

Idle is great. Why do both at the same time? Just a turbo upgrade on a stock long lock can be epic!

Why not do them both at the same time? I have had a few cars that I have swapped the turbo on but I have never got into engine internals so wanting to end up going all out on this one.
