Tsudo CBE installed...my impressions
Ok so I bought the Tsudo CBE and TP from ERZperformance. Let me first say they were very nice to deal with and shipped promptly. As for the exhaust, once I pulled it all out of the box I looked it over. Build quality and tips looks good from outside. Upon looking inside the pipes I noticed some of the weld areas had internal grinding that wasn't that well done, but hey it isn't an Amuse so I didn't expect perfection. Anyhow, I decided to install just the CB so that I could hear how it sounds without the TP. The install was hell due to one flange. The flange that mates to the stock cat did not line up perfectly. The holes were slightly off so one bolt would screw in but the other could not go in straight. I was very disappointed. I had to due a little innovating to work out a solution. Once that joint was finished the rest went smoothly. The exhaust looks really nice on the car. I hated the stock exhaust tips! As for sound impressions, it's nice. At idle it is barely louder than stock. No drone when driving around at normal rpms. It sounds very nice at WOT between 5k and redline. Overall I am happy for what I paid. After all that is what it comes down to.
Interesting. Anybody else have this exhaust with the flange problem? I'm thinking about picking this one up since someone local to me is selling it for a pretty cheap price.
