Slight Hesitation

I've searched this forum and the EVOX forums and I can't find a thread that describes my exact issue. During a WOT pull in 4/5th gear I notice a slight hesitation, its like the RPMs hesitate for just a hair at any given time and then it goes away. It doesn't happen at a specific RPM and it doesn't happen each time, its hard to recreate the issue. I've checked for potential boost leaks and found none, thought it might be the cam phasing yet it doesn't happen at a set RPM nor does it happen every time. The RPMs don't jump up, they just hesitate briefly enough to notice and then she starts to pull again. I just can't figure it out. For a second I though my clutch was slipping this morning but the RPMs didn't shoot up and I couldn't get it to do it again. Sometimes it happens around 4500, others around 5500...then maybe around 3300. Not sure if its something I need to worry about or not but I'd figure I would get some ideas thrown at me to check out. Thanks for you help.

sounds like knock timing retard. That would certainly be the symptom and would happen as discribed depending on load.

I thought about that, maybe getting some bad gas after the new tune. I would assume that it would do it in every gear though once the load % started to exceed 100 and that it would be able to be recreated every time. She doesn't skip a beat though, still pulls hard up to 7k. This hiccup is really irritating me at the moment.

So i dont think there is enough clamping force on the clutch, it slips slightly and then grabs again. Im leaning more towards the CMC so ill be calling the dealership tomorrow and have them look at it, hopefully they replace it....
