I'm confused why some say not to "vent to atmosphere". What exactly does that do that's so bad for the car? Is recirculation better? I'm also curious if I get the HKS BOV recirculation kit, will it still have that amazing HKS blow off sound? I know lots of questions at once but I figure better to ask everything than not a blow your motor from something stupid.

 

1. We run a MAF for low speed/idle operations, and it wreaks having on that area, causing stuttering, and other drivability issues.
2. No you will loose the sound. The sound comes from the insert which is replaced when you switch to recirc.
3. HKS SSQ is crap, your money could be spent better elsewhere.
