Several questions:
Long story shortened-A theft recovery has resulted in our having to drop the motor/trans etc as the engine (and probably turbo) is toast and t housing has a gaping hole. it is a 2011 evo.
Since everything is sitting on the garage floor on dollies now as we prepare to rebuild the conversation turned to -"while its out and we have to rebuild it anyway-why not provide it the car with some 'real' juice so to speak".
This is our first evo build and thought we'd ask those in the know. Vehicle will be used as a daily driver currently, has less than 2000 miles on it and has a huge Bronze looking exhaust system (Megan?) from manifiold back.

Update:
spent the better part of the day Saturday trying to separate the trans from the block. Weird. It's like the clutch plate (?) won't release. comes apart about two inches and stops.
