Chicago shop to fix clutch

Recently my clutch totally gave out and I know that evos especially evo x's are a pain in the *** to drop the trans. So I was wondering if any of you chicagonians know any places that don't bust your b**** to replace a clutch? Got quoted from 3 dealers at about 1000-1300 at 10-12 hrs. labor.
HELP need good fair shops in the Chicagoland area!!!

Make sure, wherever you go, that they bleed your acd system after performing the repair. That is an often-overlooked step with many shops inexperienced with the Evo

$1000 is very fair. Its a time consuming job. You will want to do the upgraded master at the same time. And yes, make sure the shop is experienced with evos and have the ability to bleed the acd.

Stick with AMS if you want it done correctly. If I were in Chicago I'd use them. They do charge a premium though.

Boostin Performance is there too I think.

atheras, We'd be happy to help you, and guarantee all clutch installations to be completed within the same day. All of our installations include servicing the ACD, which as 03chi-townOZ stated, is often over looked.

We currently have clutch specials this month, and have sent you a PM with more details.

Let us know if you have any questions and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

AMS is obvious as it should be, but the guys at Boostin performance are really good as well. They did some work on my VIII a few years ago and were always there to help if I had any problems.

You've got a few good shops to choose from, so you shouldn't have any worries.
