What's it doing? Please explain in detail what occurs when you turn the key.

No its trying to start. It just has a hard time getting there. Just have to hold the key turned for like 10 seconds. Has happened twice so far. Its not cold out either.

Usually if the starter wire is loose or a bad connection it would click when cranking

Than rule out The starter. It's most likely a sensor issue. Like the crank sensor or cam not getting a signal correctly.

My car was having similar problems a few weeks ago. Turned out it was the spark plugs after it stopped starting.

have you taken it apart or messed with anything engine related latley? where you could have messed up a sensor or put something together wrong? if not fuel pump could be going on ya, or your compression is ****. have you confirmed you have no boost/vacuum leaks or even a compression test? or does she run strong once she starts?

sorry for all the ?'s, it could just be so many things depending on what you have touched or what its doing.
