Recently purchased one of these pumps with the map install kit and was wondering if anyone has managed to get one of these installed successfully. Pump seems to be about an inch to big and the hose that was supplied is too small to fit on the nipple of the pump. Any advice would be appreciated. Thx

 

The pump is finally installed. To install this pump u will have to do a little modifying to the housing. Also the hose from the map install kit is a little too small. Heated it up to get it on then took it for a test drive. Hose popped off and the car died. Reinstalled hose and used with a hose clamp. So far so good
