Is the stock MAF with an ETS intake enough to support a BBX full on pump 93? ~450 hp?

 

Short and simple...Yes

 

Yeah the general cutoff is about BBX Full / FP Red / EF3 / GT30 (450 whp) or smaller a stock MAF is ok. A 3" gives you another 10-15% headroom which is like an FP Black / EF4 / GTX30 setup in the 500 whp area. If you go larger than those turbos like 600+whp range then the 3.5" is a good idea. These all being rough Dynojet numbers of course.

 

What about the intercooler? Is the stock one good enough?

 

With a BBX full you will see noticable gains (20-30 ish) with a good core aftermarket intercooler.

 

An upgraded intercooler core is always a positive no matter what turbo or other supporting mods you have. Check out ETS or AGP for a killer intercooler.
