500whp goal !

so ive been going some research and come to the conclusion that my hp goal is 500whp. mostly my evo will see street use, occasional track use. i dont want to make so much power that i will start braking **** like axles, diffs and all that.
i would like to know the requirments for 500whp. full engine build or just bottom end ? stage 3 clutch ? gtx 30 or gtx35, since fp black is long goneeee.

nice. are they good building motors ? im originally from jerzey so i dont know many shops down here in fl that are reputable. i moved down 3 years ago. and what does the 4600 include ? short block ? did you remove the engine and sent to them ready to build ? sorry for the questions but ive been doing some research on this too. i contacted ams and they gave me 6000 + for the bottom end build.

you can do it with an ef3, or fp red, or mhi turbo with cams on e85.

Ideally, a built bottom end is the way to go. The head can remain stock as long as you don't go over 8000rpm, you can actually use any Stage II cam with stock valve springs also.

Basically, after that you just need to run full bolt-ons (everything) and a solid turbo. The GTX35 will definitely get you there

Play it smart and just go big turbo right off the rip. Instead of making the typical guy move of buying a stock frame turbo, making close to, or at 500 and then realizing you want more. But your turbo is about to tap out soon... Then you'll need to sell the hot parts and the turbo to buy the kit. Just get a nice T3 kit and build the motor to hopefully avoid issues!

You're proving my point... You will get board! Just buy a bigger turbo now and save time/money down the road

Stay around 450ish with an fpred and you wont have to worry about building the bottom end and or breaking the stock.

Safe tune will take you far

I would build the motor and go with a GTX35R. That's my ideal street setup.

Do you prefer the GTX 3582 or the 3576?

I just installed an MHI 18K and will run that for at least a year but ATP GTX 3576 is something I'm considering for later. I want to keep the stock config/appearance, mani, etc for simplicity and stealth, don't need more than 500 WHP (E85) and like the spool of the 3576

Good tune and less torque FTW! I ran a 6262 stock block for a year and a half at 508/380.
