Starting from a stop is painfully annoying-Need suggestions!

Ok, so my signature shows everything that I have done to my Evo X. The problem I have is that it is so hard to get going from a stop in my car. I am pretty sure it has something to do with my clutch. Basically when shifting you barely have to push the clutch pedal in for the clutch to disengage which is good for me to switch between gears. But with starting from a stop, it grabs so quickly that there is hardly any transition phase so it makes it hard whenever you have no momentum. I would like there to be a little bit more pedal movement between the clutch being fully engaged to fully disengaged. Is there an adjustment for that or would any mods help? Has anyone ran into this problem before? As some of you might think by this point that it is operator error or something like that but I have had multiple people drive my car and warned them how tough it is to get going in first and they still stall the car. I have gotten used to it to the point where I RARELY stall it. Also, it is way worse whenever I have my A/C on because it is pulling power from the engine. There is no possible way to launch the car with how it is set up.Any suggestions will work. Thanks

I don't think there is a way to adjust the pedal with a factory cmc. The Magnus one I believe you can adjust it though. At least from what iv read

Thanks for the info. I looked up the magnus cmc kit and it does have pedal adjustment but reading about it sounds like the initial pedal location is what is adjustable and not the range of motion it takes to make your clutch release. Thanks and I might upgrade the cmc anyway just to see what happens.

My Exedy Twin HD took about 1000 miles to "slip" a little. Before that it's very "on-off" as you said.

That is good to know, thanks. The only thing is I have had this clutch in for about 2 years but with that being said, I have only put like maybe 2K on it in that time period. The car sits in the Garage a lot because it isn't my daily. Now that you say that, it makes me think and it used to be worse. Maybe I should drive it more often for the next few months and see if it gets any better. Thanks

you can adjust the clutch.

above poster is also right; clutch needs time to break in before it will be consistent.

and what do you mean its impossible to launch? You can absolutely launch it with the current set up.
