What causes this sound when shifting... vid inside

I found a video (not mine) that shows the jerky, in between shift sensation I'm experiencing. Most specifically at around 49 sec. What causes this?

I think you are talking about when you shift and the turbo is spooling faster while still on throttle. because as you shift the turbo is going to release its pressure but since you're still on throttle its building back up quick again so it has a quick sec of release/gain which gives that shake. Now if im wrong im wrong.. but thats what I think you're referring too.

Thats what I assumed as well, that there is more lag between gears but after owning 3 other turbo cars, none of them ever had that sort of flat dead spot after shifting that caused the jerky back and forth motion.

I get this if I drop the clutch too early in the high revs. A fair bit of movement back and forth. This car is pretty picky about its shifts.

This is how my cousins 2010 Evo x shifted when I was driving it at ~380whp. Nothing to be concerned about; however, I would also like to know why.

^I would agree with the above comment unless somebody else has contrary info
