Exhaust & Intake

I need some advice. I have a stock 2014 Evo GSR. I plan on putting a Borla cutback exhaust and am thinking about putting the K&N Typhoon intake system on. I have heard from some people that I will need a tune after installing these items and some people say I won't need a tune. If I don't want to do a tune, would you suggest I just stick to the stock intake? Can anybody help me out or if you have a similar setup on your car please let me know. I appreciate any help you can give me.

Can I ask why the Borla ? It's one of the heavier options, and very quiet. You would be fine with running the exhaust without a tune as long as you don't change the cat or down pipe. I would say there is no reason to put the intake on though unless your going to get a tune. I would hold off on the intake until your willing to void the warranty and get a tune. As long as you only put the exhaust on you will still be good on the warranty.

here is a good clip of a lot of options

I agree I love my Tomei setup. I get compliments all the time about how it sounds.
