I can't find any info on this subject not even on any forums, but whole internet , hope someone can help me

I own Evo 8 2003 with passive drivetrain and open front differential which I want change to LSD. My concern is: can I put LSD (even stock from passive evo) to case from open diff? Will it fit or I need new case and new differential as a whole?

yes--- funny as I can search evo VIII front LSD---you get cusco and various other manufactures that make the conversion and offer info. or you can use a ix diff. Seach button must have an open diff as well.

And yes, upgrade the stock open diff to LSD are many and avail.
BTW, I thought your EDM Evos have RalliArt LSD, no?

 

with my old 2003 evo 8 i just used an lsd out of the 2005-2006 evos they drop right into the the transfer case of the non lsd 2003 evos
