NEW!!! VRSF 4" Evo X FMIC

This has been a long time coming, but Tiago and VR Speed Factory finally has a intercooler for the Evo X. I have been running/testing this intercooler on my personal Evo X since the beginning of summer, after all what better way to test it than in the brutal AZ summer heat. First things first this intercooler is HUGE!!! Its much bigger than its stock counterpart. The core is a tiny bit wider than the OEM unit but the end tanks are much bigger. It is also a lot thicker measuring in at 4 inches exactly. The best part is that it fits behind the front crash bar without any modification so it's perfect for street cars. My Evo X is a basic bolt-on, stock turbo, pump gas, daily driven street car. When I dyno'd the car back in April on the stock intercooler the car made 325whp and 315wtq on a conservative tune in mid 80 degree weather. A month later in May I installed the intercooler and took it back to the dyno. The two main differences this time were the installation of the intercooler and the weather as it was already over 100 degrees. Car goes on the dyno and makes 335whp and 330wtq at the same boost level. Pretty amazing to make more power even with a higher ambient air tempreture. I honestly don't think you could heat soak thing if you tried. I am so beyond pleased with this product and I recommend it to anyone with a Evo X, especially if you live in a extremely hot state during the summer. Thank you Tiago and VR Speed Factory for an awesome product.

No sir but you can use a light coat of paint with no adverse effects if you're interested in changing the color.
