Deatschwerks vs Walbro Fuel Pump

Hey guys. Currently I have a DW fuel pump installed on my car and went to Cobb today and they told me they have seen them fail and advised I switch over to the Walbro. What are your thoughts?

I have the DW65c and haven't had any issues since it was installed about 20k miles ago.

Ive seen walbros go bad doesn't mean they all are bad. Im running the aeromotive stealth pump myself and couldn't be happier one pump good for 780hp no hobb switch bs. I think the DW pump is better than a 255 so I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm sure that DW is a good pump but my tuner recommended Walbro 255

Same here. I'm going to get it installed before my tune next week. I had it on my STi and never had issues.

Interesting though, this morning driving through the parking lot. I was waiting for a lady to turn into her spot and as my car was coming to a dead stop it just stalled. Not violent, just died. Started back up no problem. Makes you wonder...

DW is a better unit. I am running it in my race car and others before. Neve had any issue. I had Walbro before it failed on me. Maybe it was just an unlucky pump. But happened.
