I bought a previously modified 2008 Evo GSR last month. The car was giving me issues and I figured it was because the car had bolt ons and no/crapy tune. Well on tuesday 8/8, I got it protuned on a Mustang Dyno and the car ended up making 442 HP/ 348 TQ on 93. As suspected the car was on stock tune. IDK if the car was never tuned or if it was reverted to stock when it was sold by the previous owner.


The first run showed 260 HP. So I was didnt figure it would do much over 300 because I was under the assumption that it only had basic bolt ones. But then the tuner said the turbo was also upgraded. Im obviously not sad about that but I wanted a car that I could upgrade. Anyways here is a list of the stuff on the car currently. Can you guys recommend anything I could add to gain HP/TQ? Asside from E85 because its not readily avaliable where I live yet.


Cobb upper IC pipe
AMS intercooler
AMS down pipe
Cat delete straight pipe
Spec D cat back exhaust
Synapse BOV
Sakura intake
Garrett GTX3071R
FIC 900cc injectors


Im assuming the fuel pump is upgraded as well but IDK for sure.


The tuner recommended a EBCS so thats next but Id hate to pay the money for a retune just for that.


I also want to get rid of that exhaust but would a different exhaust add anything?


Clutch/fly wheel are also upgraded but IDK what kind/brand

 

if you talk with the tuner i doubt he will charge you full price just to add a ebc. but you could do cams next and pick up some more power and torque.
