Knock sound in rear

Knock sound in rear
The past couple of days I have heard this odd pump starting then knock sound when I start my car. Then when I start to drive the car I hear the same sound randomly when shifting gears. I read that the ayc pump makes this sound so I checked the reservoir and it was low so I refilled twice. Still makes the sound. If you guys have any idea what this could be please let me know.
