What's broken?

So I broke my car other night. 08 EVO X MR. Took a corner a little fast. As I straighten out gas was non responsive. Pulled onto side of the road. In drive and reverse it will not move. Idles fine, revs fine, starts fine. It will actually roll backwards in drive while hitting gas. If I start it in park it does not make any suspicious noises however if I put it in drive then park it makes a grinding screeching noise. Nothing is hanging underneath and boots are not torn on axel. Was not close to redline and wasnt smashing thru gears. Any ideas? I hope the axel is broken under boot and it's not the 10k SST tranny. Thank you for any input.

Welcome, thanks for joining us on the boards

Yeah, something happened Time to put this on the lift & give it a visual

Could be all electronic, but due to the grinding noise, it maybe mechanical

Once up in the air, take some pics & report back

sounds like the trans, which should throw codes. Hit up Kozmic Motorsports, they have been very helpful and responsive when I have bounced questions off them.

No codes. It's at a shop now just praying it's not the quite pricey SST tranny
