EVO X GSR > RS Conversion (Rear diff)
Hi everyone. I've been thinking about this idea for quite a while. I've got a 2015 GSR. I want to replace the rear AYC diff with the mechanical LSD from EVO X RS. While the actual swap is pretty straight forward, it's the electronics that I'm a bit concerned about.
So you remove the AYC diff, put the mechanical RS one, then you need to loop or plug the AYC lines from the ACD pump.
The questions I have:
1. ACD Pump: Is it better to plug the AYC lines or loop them? Will it make any difference in ACD operation?
2. Is it possible to still have ABS?
3. Will there be any error codes that would affect ACD operation?
4. If it will throw errors, is it possible to get rid of them by reflashing the ACD? I need to have fully functional ACD.
I'm using the car as a DD with some track runs, no drag/launches or anything. I want the handling to be as close as possible to the one that EVO X RS has. Since it's impossible to import an RS into US and the fact that I already own my GSR, I've decided to do a swap.
If anyone has done something similar, please let me know.

1. Plug the lines at the pump.
2. Yes
3. No, there shouldnt
Personally, I wouldnt ditch the AYC, as it really is a superior diff unless you are going for BIG power..
