Hi
I am looking at buying a MAC three port boost control valve for my sons Evo x and wanted to know if others have had similar experience with these valves.
After some research I have found that most of the MAC valves on eBay are Chinese knockoffs.
The Chinese valves are identifiably by having a P cast in the front of the valve and are usually supplied with two brass fittings and a brass filter, original valves have no P and are not supplied with brass fittings.
The valves on eBay have part number 35A-AAA-DDBA-1BA with 5.4 watt coils.
In the end I talked to a MAC distributor and there recommendation for a boost control valve is
35A-ACA-DDEA-1BA with a 12 watt coil and high temp Viton seals called mod 0599.
regards
Peter
