2015 Evo X FE - had the car off and was checking the lights and the shifter is now floppy. Won't go into any gear. Literally just sadly flops around. I checked the underhood shifter bushings and from what I can see of the cable = all good there. Thinking something came loose within the console or else where in the linkage? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

 

If the cables look fine on the transmission side, I'd check the console side for sure. It sounds like something popped off. It's possible you broke the shift cable itself but fairly unlikely.
